NWR Closes Season With New Driver ELKHART LAKE, Wisc., Sept 15, 2006 – The Newman Wachs Racing (NWR) team has signed J. R. Hildebrand to drive the #36 car during next week’s Road America race. Hildebrand will be along side NWR’s #34 Joe D’Agostino for the final race of the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic series. Hildebrand is a tested young driver, having won 9 out of 10 races this year during the Cooper Tires Formula Ford Zetec Championship. He has won Rookie of the Year twice; first in the SCCA Formula Russell Championship in 2004 and again in the Pacific F2000 Championship in 2005. In addition to being an accomplished racer, he is also a National Merit Scholar and was accepted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
