Poised to become one of the next generation of open-wheel racing stars from the United States, D’Agostino makes his debut in the Champ Car Atlantic Championship in 2006. He joins six-time Champ Car champion team owner Paul Newman and Eddie Wachs as one of two drivers for the newly-formed Newman/Wachs Racing. The 21-year-old D’Agostino returns the USA in 2006 after spending much of the last two seasons cutting his open-wheel teeth in the fertile training ground of the UK Formula Ford Championship.

2005:
Finished third in the UK Formula Ford Championship, scoring an amazing 16 podium finishes in 20 starts. Earned six wins, including victories as Donnington, Oulton Park, Knockhill and Thruxton. Placed fourth in the season-ending Formula Ford Festival. Ran in four races in the UK Formula Renault 2.0 series.

2004: Won the Scholarship Class Championship of the UK Formula Ford Championship earning eight top-five finishes in 18 starts. Scored four podiums including a win at Silverstone. Won the Team USA Scholarship and competed in the Winter Series in New Zealand. Ran two races before suffering a broken arm in a crash.

2003: Won the Barber/Dodge Pro Series Big Scholarship. Earned five top-five finishes in Formula Dodge National Championship competition. Named Rookie of the Year after winning Skip Barber Formula Dodge Regional Series Championship.

2002: Prepared for jump to open-wheel cars by winning the Barber-CART Scholarship.

1996-2001: Competed in several regional and national karting series and championships throughout the United States.
